We tried to take a couple pictures of Xia while waiting in line, but this child won't look at us or the camera when we are out and about. She wants to look around, watch the children, make eye contact and then smile with strange adults (namely men) and do everything BUT look at my camera!
When it was her turn to sit in Santa's lap, she did fine. She didn't cry, didn't fidget, she just had a very blank expression on her face! Oh my - so cute:)She did have her hand all in his beard as she was fascinated with it. I told Santa that all she wanted was her 2 front teeth, as she still has NO TEETH!!! Santa gave her a mini candy cane and Xia was in heaven. She loved it and sucked on the wrapper. She cuddled that piece of candy and wouldn't let go of it! Too funny and sooo cute:)

so question. do YOU take the pics yourself or do they have a photographer on hand?
Maybe we'll try out Bass Pro Shop Santa next year! :)
p.s. Haven't tried out a candy cane with KT yet, but I think that sounds like a great treat :)
They take a shot and give you a free picture. But after they take one, they allow you to take a few. It was a great experience.
