And the Little One Said, "Roll Over, Roll Over..."
Xia Bliss has been rolling over completely here and there, but only with our assistance. I was getting a little worried... until yesterday. Our little cupcake rolled over completely (several times) without any of us present! I only noticed because she was nearly off her playmat when I went peeked in to check on her! She is my doll baby...don't grow up too fast, XBG!
Cha Chi
It's about time I introduce the newest member of our family, Cha Chi!
Cha Chi entered our lives in May 2010. I wasn't as accepting at the beginning, but she has grown on me! Cha Chi is our second vehicle. Oscar drives Cha Chi to work and I drive our first love, the 4 Runner. I must say that Oscar looks hot driving this Hog;)!!
We sold our second vehicle (Toyota Tacoma) last summer to get another family car. We never found another vehicle and during that time, we realized that we don't have a great need for a second "family" car - just another mode of transportation. We didn't want a car payment, either. The office is only a mile from our home and we pretty much do everything else together in the 4 Runner. Oscar found a steal on Craig's List and the rest is history... Welcome Cha Chi!

Happy Birthday, Elijah!
On Friday, we celebrated my youngest brother's birthday. Elijah turned 7 years old! I was in college when Elijah entered into our lives and became an Offtermatt. He has always been an adorable, lovable, sweet, and smart child. He always says the funniest things, as well (he called me a chatter box on Friday!!)!
We celebrated at the Incredible Pizza Kitchen with our family. He had a blast! What kid wouldn't with pizza, sweets, soda, presents and games galore?!

Oh how XBG's gonna love the IPK when she gets a little older!
Just had to pose with this froggy...frogs are special in our family:)

Thank you, Rachel!
My sister Rachel came over this weekend. She is not only an amazing person, sister, and friend, but a HUGE HELP! I mean, she changes sheets, does dishes, helps with errands, all while smiling! If only I could do that!!! Oh, and how she loves her niece, Xia! We even managed to go shopping Friday and Saturday! I mean, it can't all be about work;) Love you, Rachel Paige!
Xia's Bedroom Curtains
I am pleased to announce that I made Xia's curtains this past week. Woohoo!! It was a relatively easy process...I purchased the fabric on Tuesday, made them on Wednesday, and hung them on Thursday.

The material is a light pink with pink flowers / vines. It goes nicely with the paint color and her bedroom set.
Her room was all setup when she was born, but not very decorated. We had a few things on the wall, but not much. Mainly because decorating scares me! I don't have confidence in my decorating decisions to take charge and make things happen. I am very indecisive and it becomes too overwhelming. It took the sunlight coming through her window one morning, during morning nap time, for me to make a decision on the curtains! Before she was born, I couldn't decide on the fabric, on the color / print, the length, and the list goes on...however, the more time we spend in her room (I rock her to sleep in her room, she takes naps in there and sleeps over night in there, etc) I am much more inspired to hang things on the wall and decorate:).
