A little behind...

I'm a little behind on documenting the last few weeks in the Garcia household...

Lets see...

We had our last Vino and Golf Clinic on June 10th. It was a blast! 5 classes of golf, meeting new friends, vino, and fellowship... can it get much better? I think not! We look forward to doing this class again and hopefully reuniting with our new friends.
Half our group - they were the best!

our swings!

Us:)

I had gallbladder surgery on June 15. You'll be glad to know that I am not posting any pictures on this subject! Quick run down: I was super happy to have surgery because of the pain, discomfort, & overall weakness I felt the couple weeks before surgery. Recovery phase wasn't too bad, except for developing an allergic reaction to the surgical tape over my incisions. Once I peeled those bad boys off the unrelenting itching pain decreased by abut 90%. My Mom stayed with 3 days post surgery and after that first weekend my younger brother stayed the week to help me with lifting Xia. I couldn't have done it with out their help and assistance. At 2.5 wks post surgery I was able to go on a walk & on a leisure bike ride. At nearly 3 wks post surgery, I was able to jog 2 miles. I still have sensitivity were the incisions were her and there & I am not pushing myself too hard with my workouts - yet!

Little Xia with Uncle Grant (14)

On July 19th, Oscar celebrated his 2nd Father's Day. It was a special day:) Oscar is an amazing man & I am so blessed that he is my husband and Xia's daddy.

Xia Bliss and her Daddy - the best dad in the world!
We also went down to New Braunfels to visit my Dad. My Dad was so honored to have almost all his children (10 out of 12) down to visit him. He is a wonderful man & I am blessed to have him as my father & Xia's Grandfather:)

Grandpa Offtermatt and his first grandchild, Xia Bliss.

June was a very busy and hectic month. Nonetheless, we survived and are so blessed to have the best family & friends in the whole world!

Sounds like a great month of June! I'm so glad things worked out well with your surgery and your recovery has gone smoothly, Annah! And as always, Xia is simply precious!! :)
