3-28-11 - Momentous Day - FIRST STEPS!

Xia Bliss took her first steps yesterday evening! She did her whole routine of "look mom, no hands" and then started walking! She took a few steps and then she'd repeat!!! I didn't capture any pictures or video of her first steps last night, but I did today:)

Back up to Sunday, March 27, 2011... we wore little Xia out with walking. She walked w/ her walker after lunch for about 30 minutes. Later that evening, my sister, Kara came over and walked with Xia for a long time holding her hands. I could tell this past week that Xia was wanting to walk. She was going for things on her feet, holding on to any stable thing in her path until there was nothing left to hold onto. Her journey would end there and most of the time she wouldn't reach her goal. I knew she was getting frustrated with her limited walking skills! Wow - so cool! Way to go baby girl:)
