Christmas Eve - Xia's First!

Christmas was extra special this year...it was our little angels 1st Christmas! She enjoyed all the excitement, the yummy food, and got to stay up late!!

Christmas Eve (day) started out with Oscar and I returning from Austin (See "Parents Night Out in Austin") and picking Xia up from my Mom's home in New Braunfels. We headed straight to Oscar's parents home (San Antonio) where we had the most delicious and yummy Christmas Eve lunch - homemade chicken and beef tamales served with beans and rice! Oscar's mom made them the day before and they were absolutely scrumptious! Xia enjoyed the tamales, rice and beans as well. There is not much she won't eat these days:)

Christmas Eve (night) we enjoyed dinner at Oscar's Tia Mary's house and spent time again with Oscar's parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins (Oscar's dad's side). Xia played with her cousin Alejandro (3 years old). They were so cute together! He kept calling her his baby...sooooo cute! I honestly don't think we would've stayed as late as we did (10pm) if it weren't for him. He kept her occupied.

Xia was very gentle with all the gifts. She didn't even attempt to tear them - she just wanted to hold them!
